AboveNet Expands at 365 Main

May 1, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center space provider 365 Main (365main.com) announced on Tuesday that fiber based connectivity solutions provider AboveNet (abovenet.com) is expanding its connectivity presence to 365 Main's portfolio of data centers, which includes facilities in San Francisco, El Segundo and Oakland, California, Chantilly, Virgnia, and Chandler, Arizona.

365 Main provides its tenants with power, cooling and security and access to connectivity providers. Under the terms of the agreement, by the end of 2007 AboveNet will offer services such as IP transit, metro transport and long haul at each of 365 Main's facilities and offer an unlimited amount of network capacity.
AboveNet is also expanding its existing footprint at 365 Main's flagship San Francisco data center, where it already provides connectivity to hundreds of customers. AboveNet also currently provides 10G transport and IP transit at 365 Main's El Segundo facility.

"Many Fortune 500 companies use AboveNet's robust fiber optic backbone on some level, so making its network available at all our facilities is a very strategic move for us," says Chris Dolan, 365 Main CEO. "As a carrier-neutral data center company, we are pleased to see such a powerhouse leading the way in providing connectivity across our portfolio. AboveNet is clearly making an investment in our data centers, and we are extremely proud of that."
